We encourage you to call with any serious health concerns that occur after hours so we can assist you in getting appropriate care.

For problems less urgent that arise between appointments, the earlier in the day that you call, the greater the possibility that we can work you in to the day's office schedule. For problems that arise at night, we appreciate waiting until morning to call unless it is an emergency. As babies are born at all hours of the day, we appreciate a good night's sleep when we can get it!

When the office is closed, there is always a midwife available by calling the office number, 503-364-3787. An answering service will relay your message. If you don't get an answer within 15-20 minutes, try again. You can also call the Silverton Hospital Family Birth Center at 503-873-1680.


Your appointment time is reserved for you, so if you are late, less time will be available to you for your visit. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please call ahead, so someone else can be given your time.
